My cat is super picky, so I wasn’t sure if Meowijuana cat treats would work. The Crunchie Munchie chicken ones surprised mehe licked and munched eagerly. I usually alternate with Nature’s Domain wet food and Nutra Nuggets for balance, so these treats feel like a real reward. I also noticed the crunchiness doesn’t break teeth or get stuck, which is a plus. One thing I wondered about is the portioningdefinitely start small and see how your cat reacts. These are more of a special snack than everyday food.

My picky cat, Stormy, surprised me with how much she liked the 9 lives cat treats. She normally turns her nose up at anything unfamiliar, but she inhaled these. I read through a few 9 lives cat treats reviews and honestly, the mixed reactions seem spot on. Some cats love them, others don’t. Mine tend to eat Pure Cravings wet and Kirkland Signature dry food, so treats are optional. I didn’t notice any weird ingredients that scared me. As long as you check the batch dates, they seem totally fine.

I’ve used 4health Untamed cat food from Tractor Supply for about a year now. My senior girl likes the turkey and lentil recipe better than the duck one. I haven’t tried the actual Untamed brand yet because of the price, but 4health Untamed feels similar to Taste of the Wild. It’s one of the only grain-free foods that doesn’t upset her digestion. Price is good—way cheaper than the boxes from Amazon. I combine it with Nutra Nuggets sometimes when I’m stretching the budget.

I recently found Solid Gold wet cat food at my local PetSmart, and it’s become my go to. The Five Oceans blend has such good variety tuna, mackerel, and shrimp options. My cats prefer it to Nutra Nuggets canned food, which they used to tolerate at best. I love that Solid Gold focuses on holistic nutrition. My cats’ breath even smells better now! The only downside is that it can be out of stock sometimes, so I buy a few cans in bulk when I can.

I had my doubts about Special Kitty dry cat food, but it’s actually held up well for my outdoor cats. They stay active and healthy, and it’s affordable enough that I can feed my whole colony without breaking the bank. I’ve compared it to Nutra Nuggets and Nature’s Domain, and honestly, the cats don’t seem to care they just eat whatever’s tasty. The only downside is that the kibble could be a little smaller for my older cats.

I tried the Kirkland maintenance cat food because a friend recommended it, and it’s been okay so far. My cat eats it, but not with the same excitement as her previous brand. I think she likes wet food more than dry kibble anyway. The ingredients look pretty good though, especially for something this affordable. I noticed less hairball trouble since switching, which is a plus. I might keep using it but mix in a bit of tuna for extra flavor. Not bad, just not amazing.
