My cats are usually treat addicts, but when one developed food sensitivities, the Hill’s Science Diet z/d cat treats became the only thing I trusted. They’re plain but effective. I still give my other cat Nutra Nuggets dry food and Pure Cravings wet since she has zero issues, but the sensitive guy needs special attention. The Hill’s Science Diet hypo cat treats also worked when I wanted something with a softer texture. I just appreciate having a treat option that doesn’t lead to itching or bathroom accidents later.

Freshpet really surprised me. I’ve been feeding my cats the refrigerated food from their Select line, and they both love it. I was skeptical at first like, does Freshpet even make cat food? Turns out, they do! The Vital formula seems super healthy, with real meat and veggies you can see. I used to buy Pure Cravings and Nutra Nuggets dry cat food, but this feels like a big step up in freshness. Only downside is shelf life you have to use it pretty quickly once opened.

My two indoor cats are hooked on Sheba Wet Cat Food. I’ve tried little Sheba trays and the gravy pates, and they eat them enthusiastically. Texture is silky, smell is appetizing, and it seems easier on their digestion than some cheaper wet foods. I still mix a bit of Nutra Nuggets or Kirkland dry food for variety, but Sheba is clearly the favorite. Definitely recommend trying both the classic and gravy options your cats will likely love the flavor and consistency. The price is higher, but quality makes a huge difference.

Applaws wet cat food smells like actual chicken! My cats go crazy the moment I open the can. The shredded texture makes it easy for them to eat, especially my picky one. I’ve tried a lot of premium brands, but Applaws canned cat food feels more “homemade.” I sometimes mix a spoon of it into dry kibble to make meals more exciting. The only downside? It’s a bit expensive for daily feeding, but perfect for a treat or special meal once a day.
