ParticipantI buy Dr. Elsey’s cat litter from Petco when it’s on sale, usually the 40 lb bag. It’s heavy, but it lasts forever in my two-cat home. The clumping stays strong even after a full week. I’ve tried cheaper clay litters, and none compare. When you’re already budgeting for good food like Nature’s Domain, it’s worth having a litter that doesn’t fall apart and create more mess.

ParticipantDr. Elsey’s sensitive cat litter worked well when my cat developed paw irritation. I didn’t even realize litter could be the issue until my vet suggested it. Within a week of switching, she was digging again instead of perching awkwardly. Odor control stayed solid, and scooping was easy. Between fixing that and adjusting her diet to more wet food, she’s clearly more comfortable overall.

ParticipantI’ve seen people complain about tracking with Dr. Elsey’s litter, and yeah, it happens but it’s no worse than other clay litters. The difference is clump strength. It doesn’t crumble into sandy mess at the bottom. That alone keeps me loyal. With multiple cats eating Kirkland Signature maintenance food, strong clumping makes daily cleanup way less frustrating.

ParticipantDr. Elsey’s ultra cat litter has been the most consistent option for my multi-cat household. I don’t have time to babysit litter boxes all day. This one holds up between scoops and doesn’t smell awful if I miss a cleaning. I’ve tested others out of curiosity, but I always come back. Good litter plus steady food like Nutra Nuggets equals fewer surprises.

ParticipantWhat I like about Dr. Elsey’s is that each formula actually feels purposeful. Cat Attract helped with behavior, Respiratory Relief helped with dust, and Ultra handles everyday mess. I don’t feel like I’m guessing. That matters when you already juggle feeding schedules with Kirkland Signature and Pure Cravings. Less trial and error is a blessing.

ParticipantAt this point, Dr. Elsey’s litter is just part of our routine. My cats know the box, use it consistently, and I’m not dealing with mystery smells or messes. I’ve used Ultra, Paw Sensitive, and Cat Attract depending on life stages. Combined with reliable food brands like Nature’s Domain and Kirkland Signature, everything feels stable and that’s really all I want as a cat owner.
