Hartz Delectables bisque senior 15+ lickable cat treats are my go-to for older cats. My senior cat eats Kirkland Signature dry and Nutra Nuggets wet regularly, but she actually licks every bit of these bisque tubes. The squeeze-up tube is convenient, and the texture is soft for older teeth. Flavor variety like tuna & chicken or chicken alone keeps her interested. These are ideal for high-value reward moments or pill administration. I’ve never had tummy issues, which is always a concern with new treats. Definitely a favorite at my house.

My senior girl, Luna, loves anything soft, so I bought the 9 lives soft cat treats. She has trouble chewing harder treats, but these seem easy for her. I did see an old post mentioning 9 lives cat treats poison concerns, but it looked like outdated drama more than anything factual. Luna eats mostly Nutra Nuggets dry food with a bit of Pure Cravings tuna, so treats are just small rewards. She’s had no reactions so far. They’re budgetfriendly, and she’s happy, which makes me happy.

I tried Untamed cat food a few months ago because my boy Milo kept turning his nose up at everything else. The Untamed wet cat food was an instant hit, especially the chicken gravy trays. I’ve also tried 4health Untamed from Tractor Supply, and honestly it’s not bad either, kind of reminds me of Taste of the Wild but gentler on his stomach. Cost-wise, Untamed is pricier, but they sometimes offer a discount code on their site. Milo’s coat looks silkier, though I still mix in some Kirkland Signature dry just to keep things affordable.

My picky eater actually likes Solid Gold Five Oceans canned cat food! That’s saying something because he usually snubs everything except Sheba Perfect Portions. I started with the tuna and pumpkin flavor, and now he waits by the fridge every morning. The ingredients look solid literally no by-products, just fish, broth, and veggies. I used to use Kirkland Signature wet food to save money, but this feels higher quality. I’ve noticed less hair shedding, too, which is a huge win.

We’ve been feeding Special Kitty wet cat food to our rescue cats at the shelter, and they go crazy for it. Even picky eaters seem to enjoy the seafood flavors. It’s not as high end as brands like Pure Cravings, but it’s a good compromise when feeding many cats. We mix it with Kirkland Signature dry cat food to add variety. Some of our older cats even gained healthy weight after switching to Special Kitty which was a nice surprise!

I switched my cat to the Kirkland Signature Maintenance Cat Food and wow, what a difference! 🐾 Her coat looks shinier, and she’s not shedding as much. The kibble smells fresh, not stale, and she actually eats it all without leaving crumbs. I was nervous since it’s a budget-friendly option, but the quality feels premium. The ingredients list shows real chicken as the main protein, which I love. It’s been gentle on her stomach too. Honestly, this is one of the best Costco finds for cat parents!
