Okay, confession: I bought evermore cat food because the packaging looked too classy. I swear it gives Taylor Swift evermore cats aesthetic vibesmoody forest album energy but in nutrition form. My cat is usually chill with Nutra Nuggets, but she practically inhaled Evermore. Digestion stayed normal, and she didn’t beg two hours later, so maybe higher protein is doing something right. I’m still not committed full-time because the price is intense, but definitely keeping it in rotation.

I didn’t expect my picky eater to love cat minnow treats, but she’s officially hooked. I rotated them with Kirkland Signature kibble just to test the crunch combo, and it was pure chaoshappy chaos. I love that freeze dried minnow cat treats are clean protein, no fillers, nothing artificial. It’s rare to find snack options this simple. The tiny fish shape is a little intense to look at, but the cats act like they’ve discovered treasure. If you ever struggle with appetite dips, these tiny minnows cat treats are a great meal topper.

Nutro wet cat food has been a game changer for my picky eater. I rotate Nutro Wholesome Essentials pâté, Nutro Max cuts in gravy, and Nutra Nuggets wet food. My cats finish every bowl. Compared to Pure Cravings or Blue Buffalo, Nutro feels more balanced and natural. I checked the ingredients and phosphorus levels everything looks safe. Portion sizes are simple, digestion is smooth, and energy levels are up. Petco, Chewy, and a few local stores carry it, and Costco has Nutra Nuggets too. Definitely a solid option for both wet and dry meals.

I recently switched my cats to Hound & Gatos cat food, and they absolutely love the rabbit canned cat food. I also tried the chicken & liver and duck recipes, and they clean their bowls every time. The grain-free gamebird option is pretty impressive too. Compared to Kirkland Signature or Pure Cravings, Hound & Gatos seems higher quality with clean ingredients. I checked hound & gatos cat food reviews and ingredients, and so far, no stomach issues. Availability is decent online and at local stores, so it’s an easy brand to try for picky eaters.

My senior cat does amazingly well on RAWZ rabbit cat food. The rabbit pâté is one of the only things she eats without hesitation. I’ve checked the RAWZ dry cat food ingredients and they look decent, though I still mix in a little Pure Cravings for extra protein. People ask “is RAWZ cat food raw?” but it’s definitely cooked just not full of gums and thickeners. I usually buy RAWZ cat food online because local stores barely carry it. I wish PetSmart stocked it since they have better sales than Petco.

I feed my cats American Natural Premium grain-free canned cat food for variety. Ingredients in American Natural Premium cat food are digestible and high-quality. Digestion is smoother, hairballs fewer, and coats look shinier. I rotate with American Natural Premium original recipe dry cat food or Pure Cravings dry cat food. Amazon, Chewy, and PetSmart are convenient sources. Price is higher than Pure Cravings, but energy, coat, and digestion improvements make it worth it. Holistic, premium, and natural seems like a reliable long-term choice.

I started feeding my two indoor cats Pure Balance Wet Cat Food about a month ago. They seem to really like the salmon and chicken & brown rice flavors. I’ve tried Nature’s Domain and Nutra Nuggets before, but they always turned their noses up. The wet food texture is smooth, and they finish every bowl. Their coats are shinier and their digestion seems fine. I bought mine from Walmart and also noticed Pure Balance Cat Food is available on Chewy, which is convenient. Has anyone tried the Pure Balance Pro Senior Cat Food for older cats?

Same here! I started with Dave’s Grain Free Cat Food when my vet suggested fewer fillers for my Maine Coon. His coat looks amazing now. I tried both the wet and dry versions, and the wet ones win hands down. I’ve also seen people talking about “Cat Food Dave the Diver” online had a laugh thinking of my cat diving into a can of turkey dinner. 😂 I usually grab mine from Amazon when Chewy’s out. It’s affordable and doesn’t upset my cats’ stomachs like some big-name brands.

I switched to Weruva BFF Cat Food for my two indoor cats, and it’s been a win. They finish their meals consistently, and even my picky eater is excited at mealtime. The wet formulas have a great texture, and digestion has been smooth. Compared to Nutra Nuggets or Kirkland Signature, the ingredients seem more wholesome, and my cats are more satisfied. I rotate between pouches and canned options to keep things interesting, and even my senior cat enjoys the flavors. Overall, mealtime has become much easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

    PRACTICAL CONCERNS WITH UNKNOWN BRANDS:

    Potential advantages:

    Sometimes higher quality attention
    Supporting very small business
    Possible better ingredients for price
    Indie natural positioning

    Significant disadvantages:

    Zero track record verification
    No reviews for guidance
    Extremely limited availability
    Unknown manufacturing standards
    No customer service infrastructure
    Supply reliability uncertain

Reality: Without adequate information, you’re essentially beta testing for unknown brand. Works if comfortable with uncertainty but risky if prefer proven reliable options.

Tried Iams ProActive Health formula and my cat developed persistent hairballs and occasional vomiting within three weeks. Switched back to previous food and issues resolved quickly. Could have been specific ingredient sensitivity rather than overall quality problem. Just didn’t agree with her particular digestive system. Quality might be adequate but formula wasn’t right match for her.

For cats transitioning from prescription to maintenance formulas, staying within Hills ecosystem provides consistency. My cat used Prescription C/D for urinary issues, now maintains on regular Science Diet. Same company familiarity helped smooth transition. Having both therapeutic and maintenance options simplifies long-term feeding.

Tried Simply Nourish salmon formula and my cat rejected it after two days. She sniffed and walked away repeatedly. Something about the smell or taste didn’t appeal to her despite quality ingredients. Meanwhile my friend’s cat eats the same formula enthusiastically. Really depends on individual preferences. Quality appeared fine but palatability didn’t work for my particular cat.

Tried the salmon formula and my cat rejected it completely after the first day. She ate a small amount initially then refused to touch it again. Something about the smell or taste just didn’t appeal to her. Meanwhile my neighbor’s cat loves the same formula. Really depends on individual cat preferences. Quality seemed okay for the price but palatability varies widely between cats apparently.
