Fresh Step Gain cat litter smelled great to me, but my cats didn’t love it. One started kicking litter everywhere, which felt like a protest. I switched back to Fresh Step unscented, and behavior normalized. Odor control was strong, though. Clumping was excellent. It just reinforced that strong scents are risky. Between litter and food changes like Nature’s Domain, I’ve learned to keep things simple.
