I tried Dr. Elsey’s crystal cat litter out of curiosity, but I ended up going back to the clay versions. The crystals tracked less, but odor control didn’t last as long for my cats. The traditional Dr. Elsey’s clumping cat litter just handles moisture better in my experience. I like knowing exactly what I’m scooping. With multiple cats and a steady diet of Nature’s Domain, consistency matters more to me than experimenting too much.
