For anyone with older cats, Dr. Elsey’s senior cat litter deserves more attention. My 14-year-old has arthritis, and this litter is noticeably gentler on her paws. It still clumps well, just not as rock-hard as the Ultra. Odor control has been fine, even in a smaller apartment. I pair it with a simple diet mostly Kirkland Signature wet food and the litter box smell hasn’t been overwhelming. It’s one of the few changes that genuinely improved her comfort.
