If anyone has a cat that gets bored with treats fast, try dried minnow cat treats. I rotate snacks constantly, and nothing keeps interest like these little fish. I also tried frozen minnows cat treats just to compare, and freeze dried is way easierno thawing, no mess, same wild-caught ingredient list. Nutra Nuggets dry food with one or two minnows as a topper made my senior cat eat like a kitten. It’s amazing how something so simple can be such a motivator.

I tried Hound & Gatos cat food with my senior cat the lamb & lamb liver canned cat food and some dry rabbit formulas. He loves it, especially the wet food. I checked ingredients for phosphorus content since he has mild kidney concerns. The rabbit canned cat food seems higher in protein than some mainstream brands. I read hound & gatos cat food reviews online, and owners mention better digestion and coat shine. Compared to Kirkland Signature and Pure Cravings, it feels more premium. I’ve been buying from Amazon and local pet stores without issue.

RAWZ natural cat food has been good to us. My cats used to eat mainly Nutra Nuggets and weren’t doing badly, but I wanted something with fewer fillers. The RAWZ canned cat food rabbit pâté is probably the smoothest pâté I’ve seen. I also tried the shredded turkey can, and even my texture-sensitive cat finished it. Buying it is the hard part RAWZ cat food nearby is a joke where I live. I usually have to order RAWZ cat food Chewy or grab a few cases online. Still worth it.

I tried Nom Nom Now cat food for my indoor cats with sensitive stomachs. Ingredients in Nom Nom Now cat food are really clean and digestible. Soft stools have decreased, hairballs are fewer, and energy seems better. I sometimes mix in Nom Nom fresh wet cat food or Pure Cravings dry food for variety. Amazon, the official Nom Nom store, and Canadian pet stores are convenient sources. Price is higher than Nature’s Domain, but health improvements in digestion and coat make it worthwhile. Definitely a premium option for cats with sensitive stomachs.

Anyone else try the Dave’s Canned Cat Food “Cat’s Meow” line? My tabby loves it. I mix it with a little Kirkland Signature dry food, and it keeps her full all day. I was drawn to Dave’s because of the clean ingredients and no weird fillers. The Shredded Chicken flavor is a hit, and I’ve noticed less shedding since switching. I also appreciate that they make options for cats with sensitivities. Affordable, clean, and cats actually eat it that’s a rare combo.

Asked my vet about Birdie and Louie and she’d never heard of it at all. That concerned me significantly since vets usually know most brands in area even small ones. If veterinary professionals aren’t familiar with brand, makes me question legitimacy and quality standards seriously. Prefer brands vets recognize and can provide informed professional opinions about.

Simply Nourish formulas emphasize limited ingredients and natural components without artificial additives. The approach suits cats with sensitivities to complex recipes containing numerous ingredients. Meeting natural food standards requires excluding certain preservatives and fillers. For cats without special medical needs, limited ingredient natural formulas can provide adequate nutrition. The mid-range pricing reflects quality positioning above basic store brands while staying below ultra-premium natural options.

The celebrity branding made me skeptical initially. Figured it was just Rachel Ray lending her name for marketing. But looking closer at ingredients and reviews, seems like there’s actual decent food behind the celebrity face. Prices are definitely more accessible than boutique brands. Going to pick up a small bag and test it out. If my cat accepts it and stays healthy, the affordability would help my budget considerably.
