Fresh Step lightweight cat litter was easier on my back, but I noticed more tracking compared to the regular clay. The clumping was still decent, though the clumps felt more fragile. Odor control was okay, not amazing. I ended up switching back to the standard Fresh Step multi-cat litter. With two cats eating Nature’s Domain and Nutra Nuggets, I needed something sturdier. Lightweight is convenient, but performance mattered more for my sanity.
