Not all cats go for fish, but mine are obsessed with freeze dried minnows cat treats. I thought they’d be too crunchy, but they crumble easily, which makes topping Nutra Nuggets super simple. The smell is strong, but that’s exactly why the cats find them irresistible. They honestly look like tiny aquarium creatures, but the nutrition is so pure I don’t even care. Plus, since they’re all natural cat treats 100 wild caught minnows, I feel better giving them daily than the usual colored crunchy stuff.

Hound & Gatos canned cat food has been a hit here. My cats love the rabbit, chicken & liver, and duck recipes. I even tried the wet variety pack, and it’s great for testing flavors. I looked into phosphorus levels since one of my cats is older, and the numbers seem reasonable. Compared to Nature’s Domain or Pure Cravings, the ingredients seem cleaner. I’ve been buying online and locally. I checked hound & gatos cat food reviews lots of happy cats. So far, no stomach issues, and they’re energetic and excited at mealtime.

My kitten surprisingly eats the RAWZ turkey cat food like it’s candy. I was worried since RAWZ cat food is pretty dense compared to other wet foods, but she handles it great. The RAWZ cat food calories seem reasonable too. I still mix a little Nutra Nuggets dry food during the day for crunch. My only complaint is availability RAWZ cat food nearby was impossible to find unless I drove to a boutique store. Amazon usually has the best price, but Chewy ships faster where I live.

My indoor cats have been eating Nom Nom chicken cuisine cat food for a few months. Energy has improved, digestion is smoother, and coat is healthier. Ingredients in Nom Nom cat food are clearly high-quality and digestible. I rotate wet options like Nom Nom Now cat food and occasionally dry food like Nature’s Domain. Amazon and Nom Nom’s official site in Canada are convenient sources, sometimes with promo codes. Price is higher than Nutra Nuggets, but the improvements in digestion, hairballs, and coat shine make it worth the cost for me.

I’ve been using Dave’s Wet Cat Food for my diabetic cat, and it’s working out really well. The low-carb content helps keep his blood sugar stable, and he actually enjoys eating it. I love that they have a Restricted Diet line not many affordable brands do that. I used to buy Pure Cravings but found Dave’s easier on the budget without sacrificing quality. The chicken and turkey cans are our go-to. I always grab extras whenever I see them in stock online.

Attempted contacting company through information on packaging with questions and never received any response whatsoever. Complete lack of customer service responsiveness concerns me significantly about company professionalism and commitment. Legitimate businesses respond to customer inquiries even if very small operations with limited resources.

    Protein options available:

    Chicken: Most common formula
    Salmon: Fish-based alternative
    Turkey: Leaner poultry option
    Limited ingredient versions: Simplified recipes

Selection covers basics without overwhelming variety. I rotate between chicken and salmon which provides adequate diversity for my cat.

The portion of proceeds going to animal rescue (Rachael’s Rescue) is nice bonus even if small percentage. At least some money goes toward helping shelter animals rather than purely corporate profits. Not main reason to choose the food but adds positive element to the purchase. Supporting brand that contributes to animal welfare feels better than giving money to companies with no charitable component.
